Turtle Survey Day Four

9:45am - Today we are doing a shoreline survey of Alderman's Ford Nature Preserve. This is an area of trails along the river and it could be a potential nesting site. George found a predated nest which could have been from any of the three Pseudemys species found here. 

10:30am - Just came across a predated yearling Suwannee cooter. We took data on it and collected it for deposition as a museum specimen. 

12:30pm - Toto, we are not in Connecticut anymore! Whew, it's hot!
